Martin Luther King Jr.  experienced these cruel laws many times throughout his childhood and later as an adult.  In fact he spent most of his life trying to change these laws.  Martin Luther King Jr.  often told a story of when he had to give up his seat on a bus for a white man.  This made him very angry, even though he didn't do anything about it at the time, he never forgot it.  It wasn't until 10 years later when poor factory worker named Rosa Parks, refused to give up her seat, that Martin was in the position to do something about it.
2. Your second assignment is to retell the Rosa Parks story, include what awards she won for her bravery.
