The Terrible Burn

The smell of the hospital was unbearable A

I could feel the nurse B

Pushing, peeling, and pressing on my skin C

The lights in the room D

Were as bright as the sun E

As I looked at my arm F

I thought I was done E

I could hear my mother yelling G

My sister staring in a daze H

Wondering what was going to happen next I

My beautiful tarnished forever

The nurse dropped some tools K

And they went boom D

Falling on an iron wasn’t very clever J
